COLOR.LOVE is a force of nature, a whirlwind of artistic expression who seamlessly blends the roles of DJ, producer, and live performance artist.

 

Driven by a desire to create a more immersive experience, her early musical influences have been shaped by a diverse range of genres and performers. Her early inspirations include icons like Madonna & Daft Punk as well as breakbeat pioneers like Stanton Warriors and the Freestylers. Later, her love for house music blossomed during her move to California, where she immersed herself in the thriving electronic music scenes of Los Angeles and San Diego.

 

Her journey began at the age of Eighteen when she purchased her first set of turntables. Six years later, she decided to make music her full-time job and soon began her studies of music production and sound design at Point Blank in LA. This kickstarted her production career which, combined with her steadfast approach and dedication to her craft, resulted with releases on Desert Hearts, Dirtybird, Glasgow Underground, Space Yacht, Spira, Strangelove, among others. Driven by a desire to create a more immersive experience, during COVID, she developed her live show which incorporates a Roland TR8 drum machine, an RC505 Looper, and a vocal effects processor. This innovative approach allows her to create a dynamic soundscape that is both captivating and interactive.

 

COLOR.LOVE has held residencies at LA's most prestigious clubs, including Exchange & Academy, where she shared the stage with renowned DJs like Benny Benassi, Nora En Pure, Kevin Knapp, and Don Diablo. Her talent and dedication have earned her the respect and admiration of industry veterans and fans alike. She has graced the stages of major festivals like Love Machine and Burning Man with her unique brand of live electronic music. In May of 2023, she reached a new milestone by performing a live set of all-original new music at Desert Hearts Festival at the LA Coliseum. Her dedication to live performance has also led her to play on renowned art cars at Burning Man for eight consecutive years, sharing the stage with Whomp, Axolotl, Christina, and more.

 

With her music releases thus far, COLOR.LOVE has garnered significant and notable success. Her track "Is This Love" on Glasgow Underground, which was released in March of 2023, has achieved nearly 100k plays on Spotify, solidifying her place as a rising star. Additionally, her most recent release from this same year on Desert Hearts Records will be featured in their “Best of” compilation.  Furthermore, an exciting EP is on the horizon, set to be released on Huxley's Dumb Safari imprint with an awe-inducing remix from Daniel Orpi. That same year also saw a release on DirtyBird: a collaboration with Kapowesky where she provided her signature vocals to the project.
